Lovely music for flute.......2007-02-16
Devienne wrote several flute concertos (as we can tell by the fact that there is a 7th...) and also a lot of other music for flute. This CD is comprised of two absolutely lovely flute concerto and one transciption piece for flute and bassoon. All are wonderful.
The playing is so nice, the music so pretty, and the sound so good. It doesn't help that this is a really good deal! It's a bunch of wonderfully played flute music that is sure to make any lover of the flute smile. And even if you're not a specific "flute lover" (flute-phile), it's highly recommended. The music is more old-fashioned, but Devienne's style is fun and nice. It's a great CD to listen to at any time.
Recommended to anyone, but for flute lovers, this is a must. It's a great CD.
