Editorial Reviews Having developed her talents through years of practice Dr. Raajam emerged with a new concept of instrumentation. Through the artistic association and guidance of Pandit Om Karnath Thakur, she was encouraged to pursue this experimentation. After 15 years of research, she developed new techniques for fingering and bowing that now allow musicians to portray the full amount of the vocal aspect of Hindustani music.
