After Capriccio already brought composer Ernest Bloch to teh attention of the audience with a complete recording of the opera "Macbeth" and, more recently, with a CD of orchestra music in spring 2004, there is now a new collection of vocal, instrumental and orchestral works. Tabea Zimmermann, a viola player in demand world-wide, plays the suite for viola and orchestra, Sophie Koch, the new star in the world of mezzo-soprano, sings the cycle of autumn songs titled "Poèms d' Automne", Reinhold Freidrich plays the "Proclomation" for trumpet, and the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, an ensemble that already appeared repeatedly on Capriccio, plays the orchestra work in two parts "Hiver - Printemps" ("Winter - Spring") accompanying the famous soloists. Conductor Steven Sloane makes his Capriccio debut with this production.
