The Guarneri's Grieg.......2005-04-23

I love the sound of that instrument (Prince of Orange by Guarneri) and the Grieg's not very known sonatas are beautiful. I hope, that Zenaty and Kubalek will record more music. This is their second CD, which I bought and it's also the best one.

Czechs in the North.......2005-04-17

Well played by Czech duo Zenaty - Kubalek. Zenaty is a true master of his instrument, following the legacy of Kubelik, Prihoda, Kocian, Sevcik. He's probably today's greatest Czech violinist... And with Antonin Kubalek they formed really great duo, indeed. Especially their reading of Grieg's 3rd Sonata is exceptional.
