The top level of the panflute in barroque music........1999-05-01

This is an amazing work. Ulrich Herkenhoff is an excelent panflutist, and I think his virtuosity is best shown in barroque music. He plays with a precision and a musicality that fits perfectly with the works in this CD. The performance of the Bach Orchestral Suite No2 is simply unbelievable with Herkenhoff's panflute, with an exquisite barroque style. If you are not familiar with the sound of the panflute, you will not guess that this is the instrument played in the music, because the performance is so virtuous. The best barroque panflutist that I haver ever listened.
