Excellent music and an exemplary release........1999-03-18

Franck was 6 years older than Schutz and was very much part of the same musical universe. The programme here goes from the high end (first track, Cantate Domino) to the low (bawdy track 18, in illo tempore, is in pidgin German-Latin)

Only niggles are with the booklet: rather verbose notes by Knut Gramss, and texts and translations that are on separate pages.
